Micro-Crux came to be when it's founder, Justin Venman, a die-hard space fan and model aircraft enthusiast was searching for a space-themed model kit. Much to his surprise, they're almost non-existent! Aside from a few one-offs and discontinued kits, legacy model manufacturers have all but ignored the space community. Justin vowed to change that. He decided to combine his skills as a 3D artist and amateur spaceflight historian to create a company dedicated to creating high-quality, accurate, and beautiful kits focused entirely on the past, present, and future of spaceflight.

We are gearing up to launch our first model, Opportunity. We felt that Oppy's story would be a great starting point for our own. The Opportunity mission has captivated the world, and stands as a testament to the passion, dedication, and curiosity of humanity. We wanted to capture the same values in tiny form, and share them with you. We hope you'll love it.
